My second project with Duke Arts was branding Music NEAR the Gardens, a reimagined version of their summer music series relocated to Duke’s East Campus. This year’s partnership with The Pinhook, a beloved local music venue and bar, called for a visual identity that honored both the new setting and the venue’s character.
To achieve this, I blended imagery of East Campus landmarks (the magnolia trees and community gazebo) with design elements reflective of The Pinhook’s bold, punk energy. The resulting identity provided flexibility for future use at this location while highlighting the collaboration’s distinct sense of place.
Promotional video for socials that resulted in 30k views, 700 likes, and 200 shares.
