Client: Good Grit Magazine

Good Grit Magazine is a lifestyle magazine that focuses on southern culture. This is a two full spread illustration focused on healing and alternative forms of medicine such as Reiki and essential oils.

For the imagery I focused on a visual flow throughout the two spreads to symbolize the traveling of pain leaving the body. The first spread acts as an intro to the article with a featured portrait of Sarah Knight, the Reiki instructor. Then, I illustrated a decorative side illustration featuring the essential oils. Lastly, to wrap up the piece, I wanted to focus on two other forms like tarot reading and aura photographs.
