Carolinadaze, a music, arts, and civic engagement experience led by young North Carolinians, invited me to create a show poster and general visual identity for their Asheville festival. With a mission to reflect North Carolina’s diverse communities and foster a sense of belonging, the team sought a design that captured Asheville’s unique artsy and outdoorsy spirit.

Collaborating closely with the team, we landed on a vibrant design featuring the iconic Blue Ridge Mountains transitioning between day and night. The concept of catching a star symbolized the action that the youth can take to vote for representation in their home state and future.
